AmTrak's Hinton Station (HIN) is undergoing a much-needed improvement to the exterior area including the sidewalks an the railroad side and the stairway on 2nd Avenue. Passengers/tourists/visitors and Hinton Railroad Days Festival participants, will soon be able to enjoy easy accessibility to/from our National Historic District Railroad Depot. Currently, a $1.2 million renovation should be completed just in time for 2021 Railroad Days Festival, October 21-24.
