The construction of the 125’ long by 16’ width, one-lane bridge at the 17th Avenue culvert collapse is progressing very well this weekend. “Thank you to the West Virginia Division of Highways staff for working continuous hours in very cold temperatures this weekend to make our highway safe again, for Students and Citizens”, stated Mayor Jack Scott.
As promised, the bridge and highway is on schedule to open Monday morning, November 21.
