Hinton Remembers ....A 9/11 Observance

What a solemn reminder today at the City of Hinton Fire Station in Avis as we remember the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 terror attacks on America.

Pictured are local first responders Jason Grose and Gary Farmer. May we all take a moment to drive by and remember that on this day we pay tribute to all our first responders who are the first to run into dangerous situations to save others and who are on call 24/7 to keep our communities safe. Remember as well their comrades and others who perished during that dark day in our nation's history.

At 8:00 pm tonight be sure to enjoy the Emergency Lights Only Remembrance Parade as it passes through Hinton. The parade will follow the final Second Saturdays event of the year that begins at 5 pm. Bring a chair and enjoy an evening of tribute in Hinton!

“Remember, no one fights alone: Dispatcher, EMS, Corrections, Police, Fire and Military” God Bless them all and God Bless America!
